From this information the user can do the following GIS
procedures :
- By clicking on any database the user can extract all the
database information as identified in the Datalist
- The user can zoom to any features in a database using the GIS
tools.
- Thematic maps can be displayed for each database. For example
: Land use types are displayed by colour codes
- Maps can be prepared to show any information available from
the datalist and can be printed to any paper size.
- Data layers can be overlaid to examine a geographical area in
terms of physical and proposed development.
Note : Datalist updated to show information for February
2005. Monthly updates to databases to be incorporated in next phase
of the project.
